បច្ជុប្បន្នកាលធម្មតា

1. We use the present tense to talk about something that is true in the present. យើងប្រើ Present Simple ដើម្បីនិយាយអំពីអ្វីមួយដែលពិតនៅក្នុងបច្ចុប្បន្នកាល ៖

·         I am nineteen years old. ខ្ញុំអាយុ១៩ឆ្នាំ

·         He lives in Phnom Penh. ខ្ញុំរស់នៅភ្នំពេញ

·         I am a student. ខ្ញុំជាសិស្ស 

2. Something that happens again and again in the present. អ្វីដែលកើតឡើងដដែលៗក្នុងបច្ចុប្បន្នកាល ៖

·         I play football every weekend. ខ្ញុំលេងបាល់ជារៀងរាល់សប្ដាហ៏

3. យើងប្រើពាក្យ sometimes, often. always នឹង never នៅក្នុងទម្រង់បច្ចុប្បន្នកាល ។ sometimes, often. always នឹង never ត្រូវបានគេហៅថា Adverb of frequency ។

·         I always go to sleep late. ខ្ញុំតែងតែចូលគេងយប់ជ្រៅ

·         I sometimes go to the cinema. ខ្ញុំទៅមើលកុនម្ដងម្កាល

·         She never plays football. នាងមិនដែលលេងបាល់ទាត់ទេ ។

4. Something that is always true. អ្វីដែលតែងតែពិត ៖

The adult human body contains 206 bones.

Light travels at almost 300,000 kilometers per second.

5. Something that is fixed in the future.

·         The school term starts next week.

·         The train leaves at 07:35 this evening.
